Good Saturday evening. The snowfall today was impressive across much of central and eastern Kentucky. Several spots topped out around 3″ on the day and we have more to come later tonight into Super Bowl Sunday.
Western and southern Kentucky will get in on the action during this time and may pick up an inch or two. All areas of the state will see another round of the white stuff that can put down up to another inch.
To those complaining about not getting much snow today… check out the forecast map, it says THROUGH SUNDAY!! It’s only Saturday evening. 😉
You can see how the snow builds back in on the GFS…
Have a great rest of your evening and take care.

Good Saturday to one and all. A snowy weekend is kicking off for much of the bluegrass state. Snow moves in early this morning and continues through much of the day. Snow showers and squalls will then become more common later tonight into Sunday.
What does it all add up to? Here’s the latest snowfall map through Sunday…
Again… those numbers include everything that falls this weekend and not just today.
