Good Monday, folks. Our weekend storm system didn’t disappoint with the high winds, even as the storm spared much of the state from any true severe thunderstorm action. Better weather is with us for the next few days before another big storm system blows into the region later in the week.
As expected, it’s a much colder day across the commonwealth with temps in the 30s to begin the day. As skies slowly become mostly sunny later in the day, temps warm into the low 50s in the northeast to the low 60s in the southwest.
That cool air will quickly turn around on us by Tuesday as thermometers head back into the 70s…
Wednesday will see temps spike into the middle 70s for many as southwester winds really kick in ahead of our next storm. This is likely to be a big severe weather producer from the plains to the Appalachian Mountains from Wednesday through Friday…
The major upper level low pushing this storm will then slowly spin across our region through the Easter Weekend…
That could mean some ugly weather with showers and cool temps, especially on Saturday.
Another major warm up takes place behind that into next week as another thunderstorm maker works in.
Have a great Monday and take care.
