Much Better Weather Ahead

Good Saturday to one and all. June is off and running on a nice weather note for the most part, but things are about to get a whole lot better. Much cooler and drier air is on the way for the next several days. We may even have a hint of a fall feel into early next week. Beyond that… Things get stormy again.

Speaking of storms, we could see a few develop in the afternoon and evening as a cold front drops in from the northwest…

Highs today will reach the upper 70s to low 80s in many areas.

Our front may still be around to spark a shower or storm through the first half of Sunday, but the awesome air wins the battle. Temps are mainly in the 70s for highs with increasing amounts of sun from northwest to southeast.

This unleashes temps that will be MUCH cooler than normal…

Lows Monday morning may hit the 40s in many areas. Afternoon temps may struggle to 70 across the central and eastern parts of the state, even with mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday looks like another fantastic weather day and you need to soak it up because changes show up after that. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms look to kick back in for the middle and end of next week. That action may continue through the following weekend, with the models spitting out some impressive totals during this time…

The European Ensembles show a wetter than normal pattern for much of the country over the next few weeks. Notice how they are hinting at the potential for western Gulf of Mexico tropical moisture to get involved…

Have a sensational Saturday and take care.
