Good Saturday to one and all. Life is all about timing and so is the weather. To get perfect weather conditions on the 4th of July holiday weekend is pretty darn good timing from mother nature. While we have perfection now, rounds of storms are on the way for early next week.

Highs today will warm into the low 80s for most of central and eastern Kentucky with some mid 80s in the west. Skies will stay mostly sunny.

Sunday will feature more sun, but will also feature higher temps and humidity levels. Middle 80s will be common in central and eastern parts of the state. The west will warm into the high 80s.

Scattered showers and storms return late Monday with highs in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. The threat for showers and storms will really ramp up as we roll toward the middle of the week. That’s when a cold front drops in from the northwest and slows down.

Check out the stormy action on the European Model…

EuroThe morel is trying to crank a wave of low pressure along that front for Wednesday. That would be a great thing for those areas needing rainfall as it could really increase the chances for some widespread stuff.

Make it a great Saturday and take care.
