The latest model runs continue the trend of being a little farther west with the heart of the cold shot. That arrives Halloween afternoon and evening with a major drop in temperatures in just a few hours. That front may also touch off some rain or snow showers. That type of flow might be able to tap a little bit of lake moisture into Saturday morning. The mountains of eastern Kentucky would have the best chance to see the first flakes with that type of flow. Lows by Saturday morning should be deep into the 20s as the core of the cold is centered right on top of us…
