Good evening, gang. This was the coldest November day since 1976 for many of us. Record lows and record cold highs were common across Kentucky today, and it looks like more records could fall tonight.

The super duper high resolution model known as the HRRR shows bitterly cold numbers tonight…

HRRR

That’s some ugly cold that would require clear skies basically all night long. The NAM doesn’t look that cold, but is cold enough to set records…

NAMI hope you guys understand just how historical this week is for this time of year. To me, this cold is more impressive than the incredible cold shots from last winter. Why? Normal highs right now and mid and high 50s with lows in the 30s. Unreal!!

I will focus on the weekend and turkey week fun and games with the late night post.

Stay warm and take care.
