Good evening, all. Your friendly weatherdude is dropping by for a short update that doesn’t include a whole lot of changes. The weekend continues to look milder with a lot of wind and ran rolling in by Sunday.
That takes us into Thanksgiving week and the potential for more cold shots to roll our way. The European Ensembles show some pretty deep troughs digging in…
Winter weather is certainly possible over the long holiday travel period. I will focus more on that with the overnight update.
Take care.
I was hoping that since I missed the evening news that Chris would have elaborated a bit on the winter forecast.
Hi MikeM!! Yes, me too since my 12 hour work day didn’t end until 7.
Work gets in the way of everything.
Especially my social life! Sad life I lead. Lol!
Chris, please post your winter forecast on here. A lot of fun s me shed it at 5 as we were still at work! On your thoughts, one word…..Brrrrrr!
and snow…. hint, hint! Don’t want to totally steal Mr. Bailey’s thunder!
Thanks Chris for staying on top of the winter weather, you called it this last storm as normal, thanks for your hard work!
You are the winter weather king, hope we get a little snow around thanksgiving, but hopefully no major problems because of the travel issues!
Keep doing your thing, and thanks for for your dedication 🙂
Oh wow, ECMWF bringing single digits back into the game late next week after Thanksgiving (with a snow pack of course). I certainly don’t buy into it but with this pattern we’ve been in for the past year and longer it wouldn’t surprise me to see more brutal cold.
Also, I really hope Nashville can cash in on some snow in the coming weeks. I know many get disappointed with 2-3″ up there in northern KY. But seriously…try 0.2″ at BNA on Monday. If you want to count your blessings, just go through the BNA CF6 the past three winters…and you’ll see how living 100-150 miles north puts things into perspective. 😉
