Good Friday afternoon, folks. I continue to watch for the increasing possibility of severe weather rolling across Kentucky on Saturday. The current signals indicate the potential for a significant severe weather event across the lower Ohio Valley into the Tennessee Valley.
Here’s a rough outline of the area most at risk…
I will have full details on this potential severe weather outbreak on WKYT-TV starting at 4pm. See ya then.
Enjoy the rest of your day and take care.
SPC follows the lead of the NAM nudging enhanced risk ever so slightly north affecting locations just south of Louisville (actually southwest Jefferson county is right on the border). Would not be surprised by a moderate risk downstate and including Tennessee.
TORCON 6! Look out Louise!
That doesn’t mean anything really. I’ve seen it be as high as 7 or 8 and nothing happened. Been a few times when this area was placed in a high risk and all we had were some heavy rains.
Don’t squash my dreams Nancy.
Go CATS!!
Are we still going to have chilly rain tomorrow in Northern Kentucky with highs in the upper 40’s or naw?
Ready to Rock!
Looks like E-Town and points south and southwest of there will be placed in a moderate risk at some point tonight or tomorrow.
What about Mc Kee in Jackson County Ky. Tomorrow is family day outside not on front of the TV or computer.
It looks like it Will be an interesting weather day tomorrow in Bowling Green!
