Good Wednesday, everyone. The quick flip to early summertime I’ve been yapping about since mid April is here. Thermometer readings are running WAY above normal and now the humidity levels are on the increase. That will give us a muggy feel through early next week. Beyond that… cooler changes are showing up.
Let’s call this week what it is… Hot. Readings in the mid and upper 80s in early May certainly earn that distinction in my book. A 90 degree high temps continues to look possible through the weekend. It’s not just hot around here, check out the deep south…
Scattered storms will be possible during this time. The storm chance will increase into early next week as a strong cold front blows in…
Could that give us some strong or severe storms? That’s certainly a possibility and something for us to watch for.
The air behind that is much, much cooler. Check out the highs from the GFS for the middle of the week…
The model are hinting at another hot spell following that up later in the month…
Just a FYI, your domain is still coming up as a possibly hacked site in Google Search.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. Google recommends you sign up for their web tools to remove that. Not seeing this warning or whatever with any of the other checks though.
Basically Google recommends you do not visit the site until the message is gone. To remove the message they recommend the webmaster sign up for their Web Master Tools and verify your site.
Sounds like some hot and then cool. Would enjoy some mid-to-upper 70’s about now instead of near 90. Hopefully June-July-August will be really nice some low-mid 80’s most of the time and not a bunch of 90’s. And no long dry spells.
Everybody have a great day.
Last night was so perfect at my home in north Richmond. You can’t beat 80° with decent humidity levels and no wind. Awesome cigar weather! 😉
It’s fascinating to watch these tornados form live as the news chopper hovers along side..
Looking like it’s going to be a dry summer. The water table will be fine at least. I guess that’s why we have averages. 10 inches 1 month, then 2 inches next month is 6 inch average
