Good Tuesday, everyone. This is some awesome fall weather we’re having across the bluegrass state. The good stuff rolls on through Thursday, then some changes blow in on Friday. That’s when a cold front sweeps across the region.

Between now and then… the forecast is straight up gorgeous. Cirrus clouds will mask the sun from time to time, but that’s very typical of this time of year. Highs will generally run in the 70s with lows in the 50s.

The cold front moves in on Friday with gusty winds and showers increasing…

Euro

That system will be accompanied by a nice little drop in temps with readings in the 60s for highs behind the boundary. Lows by Sunday morning will be downright chilly…

GFS Temps

Temps should shoot up as we go into early next week, but a big drop is lurking for the end of the week. We may also squeeze out another healthy storm system somewhere around this same time period.

Speaking of action, the latest CFS shows a wet next 45 days…

CFS

Before I go… 1992, 2009 and 1987. Those are 3 of my analog years that were showing up on the map I shared with you Yesterday. I have several more, but those were the 3 showing up on that particular list. What are the other years I’m looking at? I can’t give away all my secrets. 😉 Maybe, I will throw you some bones in the coming days.

Have a great Tuesday and take care.
