Good Tuesday, everyone. We have an awesome brand of air blowing into the region over the next few days. This is going to give us a taste of September temperatures. Unfortunately, this isn’t going to stick around long as a blast of summer surges in for the weekend.
There is a small chance for a shower or storm today as a front presses in from the north. Temps will be in the 70s.
The air coming in behind this front is well below normal…
Highs in the low 70s will be common under mostly sunny skies. Temps by Thursday morning may drop into the middle 40s in a few spots.
Thursday is another great day with 80 in the west and 70s elsewhere.
As the heat in plains fights toward the east on Friday, some scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible…
The hot weather moves in over the weekend…
Low 90s will be possible for both Saturday and Sunday with a small threat for a shower or thunderstorm.
Instead of the heat locking in, thunderstorms crash the party early next week…
I leave you with your Tropical Storm Colin trackers…
You can also take our exclusive interactive radar to track the storm as it comes into Florida. Live chase cams are also available!
Make it a great day and take care.
Hi Chris. Wanted to follow up regarding ongoing performance issues. I’m estimating these issues started with the addition of the enhanced radar several months ago, but also think its due to the large number of active lyncs and graphic intensive items trying to load. I have the same issue loading the site on my Iphone 6, Ipad, and Dell laptop. The site is very difficult to load and most often wont without erroring out numerous times.
Not sure if you’ve recieved similar feedback so wanted to take the time to sent a note since i’m a big fan of the site.
Let me know if i can help.
Thanks,
Brian
