Good Friday, everyone. It’s hot and very humid across the bluegrass state today. The west is absolutely baking, with the central and east faring a little better. We set the stage for this day more than a week ago. Now, it’s time to focus on the stormy pattern coming back.
Let’s start with today and roll forward. A few storms may develop across the region today. Any storm that goes up can be strong and put down some very heavy downpours.
A weak front settles into the Ohio Valley this weekend, and touches off better storm chances…
With so much juice available, these storms can be strong and put down a lot of rain in a short amount of time.
Additional storms will be floating around early next week…
Look what rolls in later in the week…
The models are back into showing a very familiar look over the next few weeks… stormy. Check out a snapshot of the GFS rainfall numbers…
I leave you with your Friday tracking toys…
Make it a great day and take care.
Thanks Chris. It’s so hot today that the cars are begging to be washed and everyone wants to work in the wash bay! Seriously, it is awful out. There. Please take note and stay hydrated and as cool as you can. Thanks for all you do Chris. You are appreciated. Have. Great Ftiday everyone! Stay cool!
Note to self. When your on the far eastern side of the ring of fire it’s extremely hard to get record heat when mesoscale complexes ride along the periphery.
