Good Thursday, everyone. We have a big upper level low spinning on top of the bluegrass state. This will continue to cause some nasty conditions from time to time over the next few days. I mean to ask earlier this week… How’s the chili tasting this week? 🙂

Scattered showers and a rumble of thunder will be possible across the bluegrass state. In between the rains, the sun and clouds will do battle with temperatures in the 60s for highs. Take the interactive radar down to street level to track the action into your backyard…

Friday’s weather will be very similar with additional showers and storms rotating around the upper low. Winds will be very gusty with highs in the 60s.

The upper low begins to pull away on Saturday, but should still be close enough to produce additional showers and storms of the scattered variety. Highs again should be mainly in the 60s.

Better weather moves in on Sunday with upper 60s to low 70s for highs. The 70s return for the first half of next week, with skies staying mainly dry. That looks like a very nice period of weather across our region.

Things go the other way later next week, but the overall pattern depends greatly on what happens with Matthew…

Hurricane Infrared GOES East

The models are all over the place (as expected) with where this goes, but there has been more of a trend to take this off the southeastern coast. We shall see.

Have a great day and take care.
