Good Wednesday, folks. Here’s hoping the blog finds you enjoying life to the fullest. In terms of the weather, what’s not to like about the pattern we’ve been in? As we roll ahead, there is still more nice than ugly as we get ready to close out October. After that,  I make no such promises. 🙂

Temperatures today will spike into the low 70s on a VERY gusty southwesterly wind. This is ahead of a cold front arriving on Thursday with scattered showers and a rumble of thunder…

Winds could reach 30mph at times as cooler air filters in. It’s possible to see some mid and upper 30s across the central and east by Friday morning.

Milder winds will then blow into the weekend with the low 70s by Saturday. The weekend front now looks to stay just to our north…

Temps for Sunday into Halloween will come down just a bit, but nothing like what the recent models had been showing. Things look really good for trick or treating.

Changes continue to show up as we get into November. The first week shouldn’t see very much change, but that ramps up as we roll closer to week two. The long range GFS is now starting to pick up on the changes the CFS has been showing…

That’s for November 6-8. Following that, the GFS really trends colder…

I show these because they match what the indcies show, and what the seasonal models indicate should happen around the same time.

Have a great day and take care.
