Good Thursday, everyone. Many areas are waking up to frost and, in a few cases, freezing temperatures. This is a sign of things to come as we have a hard freeze on the way for the coming weekend. That’s when our temperatures should be able to drop fairly deep into the 20s.

Highs today will be near 60 in the west with mid to upper 50s elsewhere. Skies stay sunny.

Veterans Day looks very windy, but nice with 30s to start and upper 50s for highs. Those winds are ahead of a push of colder air for the weekend. Lows by Saturday morning drop into the upper 20s into central and northern Kentucky…

This is where we find a disturbance in the weather force. The Canadian and European Models both develop a small cutoff low across the region later Sunday into Monday. This could produce some clouds and scattered showers, and keep temps on the pretty chilly side of things.

There’s a chance that system starts showing up a little stronger on the models in the next few days.

A much bigger storm will roll across the country by the end of next week and I will talk more about that system later today.
