Good evening, gang. Thunderstorms rumbled across much of the state today, but we avoided any true severe weather. Those boomers did have a ton of lightning that caused some issues across the Lexington area, and they put down better than two inches of rain for some.

We still have one more line of showers and storms to go through this evening. There’s a small risk for a local severe thunderstorm going up…

The pattern going forward continues to be very active and could produce a little snow around here from time to time. The first chance comes late Wednesday into early Thursday as a system zips across the bluegrass state. Watch how the system turns into a major snowstorm along the east coast…
