Good Friday, everyone. We’ve made it to the weekend and we have another spring fling sweeping back in for the weekend. In the true fashion of this winter, it’s not going to last long with much colder air moving back in by Monday. This can lead us into a wilder scenario.

Highs today will warm quickly into the 50s as winds become southwesterly. Temps can make a run at 60 in the west.

Moisture will rapidly increase by early Saturday, leading to clouds and scattered showers. Showers become more numerous by Saturday evening as a wave of low pressure moves across the Ohio Valley. That drags a cold front across the state on Sunday…

Temps during this time will take off… then crash. Readings on Saturday make a run at 60 degrees, then rise into the low 60s Saturday night. That’s right, temps climb into the low 60s overnight. Those numbers will then drop quickly from northwest to southeast on Sunday, winding up in the 20s by Monday morning…

Starting today, winds are going to be very gusty and could reach 35mph at times through Sunday.

The setup for the middle of next week still finds a southern piece of energy trying to hook up with a system diving in from the northwest. The European Model is still getting these two together too far to our east…

I will have another update later today. Have a great Friday and take care.
