Good evening, folks. I have a brief moment, so I thought I would throw a quick update your way.
It continues to look like a very busy week ahead with a looming severe storms threat. The Storm Prediction Center places Kentucky in the slight to enhanced risk on Tuesday…
The threat then carries into Wednesday and may actually increase…
I will have a full update later tonight. Enjoy the evening and take care
Just did a little projection math. If I did the math right (and sometimes I don’t), if Lexington can hit their low of 37 tonight and 55 tomorrow, then even if the high and low on Tuesday, the last day of the month, was zero, this will still be the 2nd warmest winter season on record (Dec-Feb). Don’t worry about Number 1. It’s way out of reach. We would have needed to average 52.6 degrees for February! We’re only at 46.8 as of this morning.
I hate severe weather
And the spring pattern continues, don’t like the severe weather, but spring is great!!
Late winter is more like it.
