Good Saturday, folks. Our clock spring forward this weekend, but our actual weather pattern is going in reverse. It’s a winter looking pattern taking up residence across the eastern half of the country over the next week or so. This is bringing absolutely frigid mid-March temps our way.

Our Saturday is dominated by a cold high to our north, crushing the snow moving into the Tennessee Valley. Some of this will graze western and southern parts of the state…

Sunday starts with another hard freeze and ends with highs in the 40s.

This will set us up for two systems hooking up into a monster storm along the east coast. As that low deepens, it should bring us some wraparound light snow and snow showers Monday night into Tuesday…

The air coming in behind that is pretty remarkable for this time of year with the numbers well below normal…

Lows by Wednesday morning may drop deep into the low and middle teens for parts of the state…

Make it a great Saturday and take care.
