Good Tuesday, everyone. As expected, rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms rolled across the state on Monday. These storms caused some wind damage and put down a ton of large hail. This plays into the severe weather season narrative I’ve been yapping about for a while now. It’s going to be a busy one!
Scattered showers and storms will move away from the region early today, but some isolated stuff may float around into the afternoon. Highs will hit the upper 60s to low 70s for many…
Wednesday is mainly dry and a littler cooler, but still above normal for the end of March.
Once into Thursday and Friday, another potent storm system makes a run at us with rounds of showers and thunderstorms…
Some of those storms could be strong or severe, with the potential to put down a lot of rainfall.
That action moves away by early Saturday, leaving us with a decent looking weekend across our part of the world. That nice weather won’t last for long, as another potent storm system works in here by early next week…
Strong storms and heavy rain will be possible once again.
These types of storm systems will likely rumble across the region every couple of days. All of this leads to a wet and stormy pattern over the next few weeks…
Make it a great day and take care.
I read all the post from yesterday, and I agree with all of you. I tend to go overboard. This is my last post. Chris, good luck in your meteorology career, and thank you for letting me express my opinion. Meteorology, has been one of my hobbies for 50 years. I have seen a lot of different weather events in my 65 years and I’am sure you will also. Good bye to everyone. Have a great day.
Awwww….. Fiddle sticks now I’m feeling guilty, to a point. Schroeder, it was all about your approach. Your comments and how you would put them out there was in a know it all way. You would completely contradict what CB would post. Opinions are one thing. Posting scenarios that was completely opposite and never came into fruition and going against the grain of a paid meteorologist who does this for a living to me is wrong. You have a right to your opinion, but when you would post it wasn’t in opinion form it was in “this is the way it’s going to be” kind of thing.
Thanks Chris. Not sure how happy I am about a busy severe weather season, but I reckon it don’t matter. We had warnings last night but it never really got too bad here. We did have heavy rain and wind, and some lightning, but it was really just a good go to sleep type of stormy….back and forth today between clouds and sunny. I’ll take it!
Have a great Tuesday, everyone. Scheroder, don’t stop commenting. We all give opinions on here. And all in our own way. Please rethink that.
