Good Saturday, everyone. Much better weather is blowing into the state today and this is going to stick around for a while. In the process, temps are going to surge toward summertime readings. Is this a true start to a toasty summer? Probably not. 🙂

We could actually use the dry and toasty temps, as the bluegrass state is pretty wet. Much of the area picked up a general 1″-3″ of rain just in the past week. And you guys doubted the rainfall forecasts. 😉

Today will feature skies becoming mostly sunny with highs reaching the low 70s in many areas. Mother’s Day looks even better with highs around 80 as clear skies roll on.

Summertime temps then roll in here for next week with highs in the middle and upper 80s from Monday-Thursday. That takes us into a pattern that will throw some thunderstorms our way…

We will still keep the toast temps and high humidity, just with some storms floating around.

The upstairs pattern is not locking in by any stretch of the imagination. If anything, it looks pretty progressive for the following week…

The progressive look suggests rounds of rain and storms will be returning to the region and the Ensembles show that well…

Make it a great Saturday and take care.
