Good Tuesday, everyone. We continue to see some big temperature swings across the region, leading to a very active pattern. This active pattern means more in the way of showers and thunderstorms sweeping in here. Some of that action will cause some issues for our Memorial Day Weekend.

Today may feature some isolated showers and storms going up, with southeastern Kentucky having the best chance at a little more…

A potent upper level system swings in here for Wednesday with gusty winds and showers and thunderstorms going up…

A few strong storms will be possible with this system. Temps will be dropping into the 60s later in the day as winds become westerly and then northwesterly by Wednesday night and Thursday. That’s when a round of gusty rains will be possible for the central and east…

Areas keeping the clouds and showers for the bulk of the day may see temps stay in the 50s…

Those numbers will QUICKLY reverse on Friday as warm, humid air pushes back in. That can lead to scattered storms later in the day…

This will set the stage for rounds of showers and storms going up into the weekend. Here’s Saturday into Sunday…

And Memorial Day…

Wish I had better news!

Make it a great day and take care.
