Good Wednesday, everyone. A potent system is working across the region today, touching off showers and thunderstorms. This is ahead of another shot of much cooler than normal air that sticks around for a few days. By the weekend, we reverse the temps, only to see them slide again early next week. Got the Dramamine ready?

With the temp swings will come rounds of showers and thunderstorms. The action out there today will feature gusty winds and I can’t rule out some strong or severe storms with damaging winds and large hail. There’s also some shear available to get a few storms to spin. That’s something to keep in mind this afternoon…
