Good Monday, everyone. We are quickly closing in on our Independence Day and the weather is looking very typical for this time of year. We have steamy temps and the threat for scattered storms as we head into our big 4th of July. If you’re already tired of normal temps, another cool shot is on the way by the coming weekend.

Today will feature very muggy air with many thermometers in the mid and upper 80s. We will need to watch for some scattered showers and storms going up…

The storm chances ramps up from there with a system rolling across the Ohio Valley for the middle and end of the week…

A few strong storms and heavy rainfall will be possible during the second half of the week.

That system unleashes a much cooler and less humid brand of air this weekend, with the potential for that to last into early next week. Watch the European bring the pleasant air into town…
