Good Thursday to one and all. We continue with out stormy and cooler than normal start to the month of July. These rounds of storms are loaded with moisture and can produce some local high water issues through Friday. That’s when a front arrives with much better weather for the weekend.

Another wave of low pressure is working across the state today with those rounds of showers and storms. In addition to the localized flash flood threat, a few strong storms will be possible…

A strong cold front sweeps in from the northwest on Friday, bringing a line of strong thunderstorms by evening. A few of these storms may be severe with damaging winds…

Much cooler air then sweeps in behind the front for the weekend. Highs on Saturday will range from the upper 70s to low 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. I can’t rule out an isolated shower or storm in the south.

The storm threat doesn’t get too far away from us this weekend and could return by Sunday night…

The stage is set for clusters of storms to move from northwest to southeast into our region for much of next week…

That’s a setup that can cause additional issues across our part of the world. Are you shocked to hear this? Didn’t think so. 😉

Have a great day and take care.
