Good afternoon, folks. We continue to track sleet and snow showers across the bluegrass state, as winter continues to show up in our “mild” pattern. That’s when you know you’ve got an old fashioned winter going. 😉
Coatings of snow are likely this afternoon and evening, with maybe a little more showing up in the east and northeast after dark…
Temps rebound Thursday into Friday, with 55-60 showing up for Friday. This is ahead of our weekend system that continues to look rather progressive…
Gusty showers give way to cold temps coming in behind that system for late Sunday into early next week. This is being pushed by a DEEP trough diving into the country by next Thursday and Friday…
That’s a strong storm signal along a true arctic front moving into the region as we say hello to February.
This is one mega temperature drop within 24 hours…
I will have the latest on WKYT-TV starting at 4pm and have another update on here during the evening. Make it a good one and take care.
I look forward to the active weather pattern coming up. This weekend’s storm looks interesting.
It’s National Compliment Day. So, thanks CB for your tireless work and enthusiasm for weather, sharing with us your thoughts, be it on TV, Twitter, the blog. Also, thanks to Bailey family for sharing him with us. You know you deserve more compliments besides one day of the year. Keep up the good work!
Dilly Dilly to what Mike S said!
Dilly dilly!
CB the Man!
A good setup again for more “threats” but I wish the main axis will set up just to our west in the central states so we could ride the storm train instead of having the Arctic air squashing the jet to the Gulf….we will see soon enough!
