Good evening, folks. Our busy winter weather pattern rolls on with a light snow maker moving in tonight, and a messy mix on the way for Tuesday night into early Wednesday.

Light accumulations are possible tonight, with some coatings to 1″ a possibility. That’s especially true across the northern half of the state. Watch for slick roads to develop in some areas. I will have your tracking tools in a moment.

The Tuesday night and Wednesday setup continues to look very messy, with heavy rain, freezing rain and some snow showing up across Kentucky.

The Hi Res NAM has beefed up the overall coverage of the Freezing rain…

The GFS continues to sink southward with the band of freezing rain, and has half inch and greater amounts…

That same model also shows a better chance for accumulating snows in the north…

That can get very messy for parts of the state. In addition to the winter weather, rainfall totals of 1″-2″ are possible in the south and southeast.

I leave you with the tools to track the light snow maker rolling our way tonight…
