Good Wednesday to one and all. Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to rumble across the bluegrass state, bringing the potential for heavy rains. These storms are coming at us in rounds, with several dry, steamy hours in between.

Temps for the rest of the week will be held in check, with many areas staying in the 70s and low 80s for highs. If you can manage to squeeze in a day where the sun is more prominent, readings can hit the low and middle 80s. That said, full sun isn’t going to be that abundant in the coming days.

As mentioned, the showers and storms will come at us in waves for the rest of the week as we get some tropical moisture from the Gulf…

Heavy rain is the primary threat from the storms, with the continued threat for local flash flooding issues.

As we take a look into next week, we find the active pattern rolling on…

Have a wonderful Wednesday and take care.
