Good Sunday to one and all. It’s a much cooler pattern settling into the bluegrass state for the first full week of June. This setup is being introduced by a cold front sweeping eastward across the state today, touching off a few storms along the way.

I will hook you up with your Sunday scattered storm tracking tools in a bit.

As mentioned, the air coming in behind this for Monday looks awesome. Highs may stay in the low and middle 70s for many areas…

Lows by Tuesday morning can drop deep into the 50s for many areas…

Tuesday will feature very gusty winds as another cold front dives in from the north Tuesday night. This should bring a few showers and storms dropping in here…

That brings another cool shot to the central and eastern parts of the state, but temps turn toasty in the west…

That’s some very cool air showing up from the Ohio Valley into the Mid Atlantic and northeast. Wow!

That cooler air holds tough into Thursday, but check out the heat making a run at us from the west…

That should get in here by Friday, but thunderstorms should drop in from northwest to southeast by the weekend, knocking the numbers way back down…

Looking farther down the road, we will need to watch the Gulf of Mexico for some action later next week. Regardless of that, we should stay in a rather active storm pattern around here.

Winter fans… I have a way too early seasonal computer forecast to share with you on Monday. 🙂

Until then, track the scattered storms out there today…

Make it a great Sunday and take care.
