Good Thursday, folks. We have a cold front working into the state later tonight, bringing some very nice weather behind it. As nice as the weather is to start the weekend, things look to take a turn toward the ugly by later Sunday into early next week. That’s when another big upper level low spins into the region.
Let’s begin with today and roll ahead. Windy and warm weather will be noted ahead of the front, with isolated showers and storms trying to pop. A broken line of showers and storms will be along and ahead of the front moving into the region this evening. Track away…
Friday starts with a broken line of showers and storms working across the east, with drier and cooler air coming in behind the departingĀ line. Highs on Friday will be in the upper 70s and low 80s, with humidity levels coming down.
Temps by Saturday will drop into the 50s to begin the day and rebound into the upper 70s and low 80s by the afternoon. Skies will be gorgeous, so enjoy!
Sunday temps will bounce back some as late day showers and storms increase. This action kicks off an extended period of showers and storms into the first half of next week…
This comes courtesy of another upper level low which will keep out temps MUCH below normal…
Highs under that may be way, way down…
After little rebound late next week, some of the Ensembles are forecasting another deep trough…
For you Internet hoaxsters out there and those who choose to side with them, get a good look at Mars and the Moon late tonight and especially tomorrow night. Although Mars will be approaching its closest point to the Earth in 15 years, it will not be the same size of the full moon as some will mislead you into believing.
However, for some in the world (U.S. not included), a total lunar eclipse will occur. The longevity of the eclipse should allow for a period when the reddish Moon will reside together in close proximity (at least from our vantage point) to Mars the Red Planet for a memorable sky spectacular.
Perfect weather for me turning 38 today. Thanks, CB! š
Happy birthday.
