Rain and Storms Ahead

Good Sunday, everyone. Showers and thunderstorms are about to increase as a big upper level system moves in from the west and northwest. This system will bring some decent rains to much of the region over the next several days, to go along with cooler than normal temperatures.

Highs today are back into the pleasant

80s with an increase in clouds and humidity levels. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will then go up from west to east, especially by later today. Here are your tracking toys…

The rain and thunderstorm action continues to increase over the next few days as a big bowling ball upper low moves in…

Locally heavy rain and a few strong storms are possible. A few of the storms may even be severe late. Here’s the Monday outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…

Temps will continue to run much cooler than normal during this time…

There’s the chance to get in on additional showers and storms later this week into the upcoming weekend. The GFS rain numbers for the next few weeks continue to be rather impressive…

The more things change, the more they stay the same! 🙂

Make it a great Sunday and take care.
