Good Tuesday, everyone. We have a system rumbling into town from the northwest, bringing the potential for a few strong thunderstorms. These boomers may also unleash some locally heavy rains. Yippee!

Some of the stronger storms may bring high winds and a touch of hail. Here’s the latest Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…

As mentioned, these storms may also put down a lot of rain in some areas. We will need to watch area creeks and streams for some, at least, local high water issues.

Additional showers and storms hang around into Wednesday as our system presses slowly through. This will help knock the temps down for the end of the week, with the likelihood for another system to bring more showers and storms into the weekend. A lot of rain may fall over the next week.

We will get into all that over the next few days. For now, I have you all set to do some Tuesday storm tracking…
