Good Thursday, everyone. Your friendly weatherdude continues to sound like the proverbial broken record, but let’s put all the blame on Mother Nature. She’s the one bringing the rounds of showers and storms our way, with more on the way for the foreseeable future.

In other news… Blah. 🙂

Today’s action will be more concentrated across the southern half of the state than the north. Just like every day for the past few months, any storm that goes up may put down every heavy rain.

Storms may become a little more widespread on Friday as we see another upper level system working in here for the weekend. Notice how this closes off right on top of us…

That leads to some on again off again showers and storms through next week…

This is a continuation of our wetter than normal year, with this likely taking us through the rest of the month and into September. Check out how much of the country will be experiencing above normal precipitation during this time…

There’s a lot of back and forth in the temperatures, with toasty shots battling it out with cool shots. One such cool shot is showing up on the Ensembles next weekend…

I leave you with your daily dose of storm tracking tools…

Make it a great day and take care.
