Good Thursday, everyone. The weather out there today is beyond awesome as we are getting in on a little bit of an early fall preview. This air will carry us into Friday, then we roll our way back into an all too familiar pattern, with humidity levels on the rise and the threat for some storms.

Our Thursday is starting with temps in the 50-55 degree range in many areas, with some upper 40s possible in the coolest valleys. Afternoon readings will be in the mid and upper 70s for the central and east, with 80ish in the west.

Friday sees our temps slowly on the rebound, with an increase in clouds and the chance for a late day shower or storm rolling in from the northwest…

That kicks off a fairly humid weekend with more showers and storms trying to develop…

This humid trend continues into next week as temperatures continue to climb. The toasty temps will be joined by scattered showers and storms going up on a daily basis.

Later in the week, we will be watching for a trough to dive into our region, bringing an increase in showers and storms that may last into, at least part of, Labor Day Weekend…

Enjoy your fall preview and take care.
