Good evening, folks. Rain continues to overspread the region and that’s a trend that continues through Friday. This is the first of a few rounds of rain and wind to impact the region through the upcoming weekend. Behind that, the pattern takes on a very interesting look to end October and begin November.

First things first… Rain is moving in this evening and will continue to increase overnight…

Ugly weather continues through Friday and into much of Saturday. The next system zips in here on Sunday and is likely to bring high winds to the region…

Gusts of 40-45mph are possible through Sunday evening. Rain will also increase during this time.

As that system rolls eastward, temps should rebound pretty good for Tuesday into early on Halloween. Unfortunately, that’s ahead of another big storm system rolling into the region. Rain and gusty winds look to be a good bet Halloween into Thursday. Here’s the new European…

A deep trough digs in behind that and has the chance to bring our first taste of winter weather for the first weekend of November…

The Canadian has a similar thought process with both of the above systems…

The late day GFS is even starting to pick up on this scenario…

We shall see how that goes, but it’s an interesting look for early November.

Enjoy the evening and take care.
