Good Saturday morning everyone. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is out until 9 this morning for much of western and south central Kentucky. Damaging winds are of particular concern with the storms rolling through the region. These storms may also produce some hail and even a brief tornado spin up.

These storms are prolific lightning producers and may will put down torrential rains that can cause flash flooding problems for some.
