Good evening, everyone. Mother Nature kicked us in the teeth today with much colder air settling back into the region. This means our weekend is kicking off on a clear and cold note, but another super active setup is on the way from late this weekend into next week.

The first system arrives Sunday and may bring rain, mixed precipitation and a touch of snow…

There is some indication for a few hours of freezing rain before rain takes control. Once that rain takes control, it becomes heavy at times Monday into Tuesday. This is just another in a long line of systems ready to hit our region through next week…

Rainfall totals through next week are way up there and we could be looking at flooding on more than one occasion. Check out some of the totals…

The GFS Ensembles are also hitting this wet pattern over the next few weeks…

They also show the cold finally gaining control, bring more snow back into the picture…

Have a great evening and take care.
