Good Wednesday, everyone. We have a super warm pattern ready to take shape across the Commonwealth, giving us a true summer look and feel. Before we get to that, a few showers and storms are on the move today. This action is rolling in on a northwest flow that’s about to finally go away.

Today’s showers and storms won’t be terribly widespread, but a cluster of storms may dive in from northwest to southeast. The best chance of that happening is across central and western Kentucky. Here’s regional radar for your Wednesday storm tracking needs…

Temps on Thursday hit the 70s for many, with some local 80 degree temps showing up. There’s just a small chance for a shower or storm going up. A better chance for a storm or two will be around on Friday as the real deal summer feel moves in…

Temps hit the low and mid 80s on Friday and may reach the upper 80s this weekend…

A few showers and storms will also be floating around at times this weekend and that continues into early next week…

We will need to watch for a few strong or severe rounds in that type of a setup;

The overall setup for the next 10 days may continue to skew warmer than normal for much of the eastern half of the country. The GFS Ensembles are showing this well
