Good Friday, folks. It’s another day of steamy temps and scattered storms and this pattern has locked in through the Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a setup that we commonly see in the heart of summertime, but there are signs of change as we end May and roll into June.

A boundary is draped across the Ohio Valley and this will throw a few more storms at the region today. The greatest potential is across the northern half of the state. Just like Thursday, I can’t rule out a strong storm or two…

Temps range from the middle 80s to near 90 degrees.

Saturday will see similar temps with a scattered storm or two around, especially across the central and eastern parts of the state.

Once into Sunday, another boundary slides closer to us from the north. This will be able to touch off some late day showers and storms, some of which could be strong or severe…

Some of that action will linger into Memorial Day as temps generally range from 85-90 once again.

The pattern finally tries to change by the end of next week as a trough looks to deepen across the eastern half of the country…

Once that digs in, temps are forecast to go below normal…

Make it a fantastic Friday and take care.
