Good evening, everyone. Light snow continues to target southeastern Kentucky, bringing slick travel to several counties. We’ve had reports of enough accidents to close down a road or two until road crews could help out. As that action winds down, we focus on a busy pattern with more winter weather threats ahead.

For the latest on what’s happening and to see some cool snow pics, follow along with my @kentuckyweather twitter feed.

As we look down the road, we are finding a very active pattern. A system moves in on Friday with the potential for a touch of freezing rain on the leading edge of chilly showers. Another system may bring some light rain and light snow by Saturday night, but the main system of interest comes Sunday night into Monday.

You can see all three systems on the Euro…

That one taking shape for Sunday night into early next week is looking like a potential Ohio Valley winter storm. That may bring all modes of precipitation are possible.

The WPC is highlighting the winter weather potential…
