Good afternoon, everyone. It’s a cold and cloudy day in the bluegrass state as a few flurries fly for some areas. This dreary sky will carry us through the net few days, all while we track a very light snow maker toward the region. This thing continues to look pretty darn wimpy for Wednesday.

Let’s start with this afternoon and roll ahead. Temps are in the 30s with a few flakes flying by. There’s actually a chance for a true snow shower later tonight across the north and east. This action is so light that regional radar won’t pick up on much of it…

Snow lovers are going to love the look of the radar to our west later today and tonight. Don’t let it fool you because that action will diminish as it moves into Kentucky. There’s still likely to be a swath of late night light snow in the west, but that wimps out as it rolls east on Wednesday. Another batch of light snow and flurries then work to the east  Wednesday night with some light accumulations

Again, Some light accumulations will show up with this.

The weekend system continues to look like a close call. but we can’t get the two pieces of energy to hook up…

The Canadian is a little better look for some rain and snow around here…

Once that goes by, temps take a walk on the wild side. 60 degree highs surge in for a couple of days before an arctic front arrives by the middle of next week.

I will have the latest on WKYT-TV at 4pm then again on KWC this evening. Make it a good one and take care.
