Good evening, folks. Rain and a little snow continue to work from west to east across the state, bringing a little bit of accumulation. That system moves through very quickly, leaving us with a better looking sky for Thursday, but with another system right ready to move in by Friday.

There’s not much more I can say about the wimpy winter system, but I will have your tracking toys in a bit.

The setup for Friday into the weekend looks the same as what we have been talking about for days. One low develops across the deep south and rolls to the northeast well off the east coast. That brings a few showers in here for Friday.

The system diving in behind that can bring rain and a few flakes in here for Saturday and Saturday night…

Temps behind that will surge into the 55-60 degree range for Super Bowl Sunday then into the 60s for Monday and Tuesday. That will come with a wet price, though, as waves of rain increase ahead of a front moving in on Wednesday. Colder air comes in behind that as we watch the potential for another storm system coming out of the south…

Here are your weather trackers for the rest of the day…
