Good Saturday, everyone. The day is off and running on a frigid note, but things get much better later today as milder air moves in. Unfortunately, our Sunday forecast isn’t looking as good for Sunday as the chance for a few showers creeps into the picture a little early.

Temps this morning are in the teens for many with a nice recovery into the mid and upper 40s by the afternoon. A 50 is possible in the west and south. Some clouds will be on the increase and those clouds may actually spit out some showers into Sunday.

Check out the rainfall forecast…

That’s certainly not going to be all day type stuff.

Temps by Monday begin to climb to around the 60 degree mark as we wait on our next system. That arrives Tuesday in the form of a strong cold front. Showers and a rumble of thunder will be possible with this boundary as much colder air sweeps in behind it…

The cold continues to want to keep any follow up system to our south through the end of next week.

Temps rebound quickly by next weekend and we should see a few above normal days. That said, the GFS Ensembles are taking on a cold look as we end the month and begin March…

Given the fact we have had spring all winter, it would make perfect sense for winter to show up as we get closer to spring.

I will throw you another update later today. Make it a good one and take care.
