Good Tuesday, everyone. Our cold front is working into the region today, bringing gusty showers with it. As colder air comes in behind this, we start to focus on the possibility of a second system brushing the state later this week. This is the same one I’ve been saying not to shut the door on.

As always, let us start with today and roll forward. Our front is slowly working into the region, bringing showers with it. Winds are gusty with temps in the 50s. Here are your radars to follow the showers…

Colder winds blow in behind this with temps in the 20s to start with 40s for afternoon highs on Wednesday.

The same front moving through today will slow down to our south over the next few days. That’s when a wave of low pressure develops along the front and rolls eastward. Where this exactly happens will determine if southern and southeastern Kentucky can get in on some winter weather.

The models continue to skirt far southern and southeastern Kentucky with a little action…

A couple of systems will need to be watched from late this weekend into early next week.

The setup to end February and begin March continues to look like a cold one. This isn’t a good look for spring lovers…

Ugh!

I will have updates late today. Make it a good one and take care.
