Good evening, folks. Dreary weather continues across the bluegrass state as much colder air filters in from the northwest. This air will grow colder into the coming days with the chance for a few flakes in the south and southeast. As we look farther down the road, there’s a winter look developing as we end February and begin March.

Let’s start with the evening rain that continues to show up a little heavier in the south and southeast…

Wednesday features a mix of clouds and sun with temps in the 40s.

As far as the Thursday southern system, the NAM continues to bring a little light snow into the far south and southeast…

The GFS also brings light snow into the southeast…

The Euro is just south of the state…

After a cold and dry few days, temps come up closer to normal by Saturday as we wait on the next system to arrive on Sunday. This is the first of two systems showing up as a winter looking pattern tries to settle in. The Euro has a bit of a mix with the first one and some snow with the second…

The Canadian agrees…

As the President of #teamspring, I do not like the looks of the pattern through the first half of March. The Ensembles are showing up with some frigid temps…

The snow map through the first few days of March…

You knew this was going to happen!!!

Enjoy your evening and take care.
