Good evening, friends. Cold temps continue to move in behind our little band of light snow moving out of southeastern Kentucky. After a frigid Friday morning, things look much better into much of the upcoming weekend. From there, things get interesting next week.

Temps tonight drop into the teens in most areas, but wind chills may briefly drop into the high single digits. Afternoon sun boosts temps into the upper 30s and low 40s.

Saturday looks AWESOME. 20s will start the day, but temps tickle 50 to end it. Sunny skies will be noted.

Clouds increase on Sunday as readings reach the 50s. Rain moves in from west to east during the evening, setting the stage for a soggy Monday…

Colder air sweeps in behind this with another low pressure developing and impacting our region by Wednesday and Thursday. This should bring, at least, some winter weather our way…

That’s a lot of cold air coming in behind that as we close to books on February and roll into March.

Enjoy the evening and take care.
