Good afternoon, everyone. We have sunny skies and milder temps controlling the weather across Kentucky, but changes are just around the corner. The closing days of February look very busy as Old Man Winter takes another shot at us.

The first system is still set to move in here from west to east late Sunday into Monday. That brings rain and dreary weather, and I can’t even rule out a rumble of thunder.

The next system brings more of a winter weather threat to the region Wednesday and Thursday with the potential for another system to follow it up from the northwest.

Here’s how the Canadian sees it..

The European…

The GFS is, as expected, the most progressive because that’s what the model does…

Snow chances would show up from Wednesday through Saturday. To what extent, remains to be seen. Regardless, temps are going to be very cold to close out February.

The trend on the European Model is to get that cold out of here pretty quickly, with milder than normal temps for the first week of March…

The European Ensembles settle that pattern in for a bit…

I will take that and run with it! 🙂

Have a great rest of your day and take care.
