Good afternoon, everyone. Clouds are increasing ahead of another wet weather maker rolling in here to start the week. This kicks off a very busy pattern that will turn wintry as the week wears on, with the potential to put a little snow on the ground before all is sad and done.

Showers are increasing from the west and southwest this evening. This action will continue to increase through tonight and Monday. Locally heavy rains are a good bet with some areas pushing 1″ or so. A little thunder is also possible.

Here are your trackers to follow the drops into the region…

Colder air then moves in late Tuesday and Wednesday as our next system moves through. This means the winter weather potential creeps into the picture for Wednesday and Thursday. We will then watch for a couple of clippers to possibly bring some light snow behind all that for Friday and Saturday.

The GFS isn’t the best at seeing those clippers…

The Canadian shoes the potential…

The EURO also shows what I’m talking about…

Moral of the story, winter weather loves have a little late season action to track for Wednesday through Saturday.

Once into early March, the trend is likely much warmer and the EURO shows the numbers going above normal…

Enjoy the rest of your day and take care.
