Good evening, folks. Light snow is breaking out across areas of central and eastern Kentucky and may cause travel issues. This is a quick mover,  so it won’t put down a ton of snow by any means, but light accumulations are a good bet.

A Winter Weather Advisory is out for many…

Within the northwest to southeast moving round of snow. Coatings to 1″ will be possible for many, with some embedded areas where more than an inch shows up. Much of this will be on elevated surfaces, with initial melting on roads. With temps dropping through the 20s, watch for black ice to form later this evening into the wee hours of Saturday.

Saturday continues to look much better with Sunday looking awesome with temps around 60. Clouds will increase with evening rain arriving, setting off a very wet pattern through the middle of next week. Heavy rain and flooding issues may develop.
