Good evening, folks. Our severe weather season is off and running with an increasing threat for strong to severe storms. A TORNADO WATCH is already out for western Kentucky and we may see the risk area focused farther east into the overnight hours.

Damaging winds and large hail continue to look like the main players, but a few tornadoes will be possible.

In addition to the severe threat, we have the potential for local flash flood issues to develop. That trend will be across the entire region as the storms move through. As of now, this looks fairly isolated.
